Annual car check-ups are as important as visiting the doctor – you need to make sure your car is always healthy and safe for your own safety. With this guide, we’ll help you distinguish what needs to be checked and how often.
Make sure you check your dashboard indicator lights, car lights, tyres, water level, engine oil level and windshield washer fluid frequently. Try to do it whenever you fill up your tank!
Every 3 months, it is important to keep check of your Automatic Transmission Fluid, battery and cables, belts, engine air filter, exhaust, hoses, power steering fluid. If there is any sort of problem, it is best advised to change it straight away.
After 6 months, at least twice a year, ensure you check your car’s chassis lubrication and your wiper blades for your own safety.
At least once a year, check your brakes, cabin air filter, coolant (antifreeze), steering and suspension as well as your wheel alignment.
