AutoZone Steps Up for Local Care Centre
AutoZone recently donated a much-needed air compressor to the United Cerebral Palsy Association of South Africa (UCPASA), based in the south of Johannesburg, to support the maintenance of wheelchairs used by the 31 residents in their care.
Wheelchair upkeep is essential for the safety, mobility, and independence of individuals living with cerebral palsy. This vital piece of equipment will assist UCPASA in continuing to provide reliable, high-quality care to its residents.
The donation was handed over by AutoZone’s Marketing Manager, Krystle Stewien, to Kimberley Greef, Product Procurement at UCPASA.
“We are truly honored to be able to assist, even in a small way, to support the incredible residents and caregivers at the United Cerebral Palsy Association of South Africa. At AutoZone, we believe in the power of community, and being part of something that brings real, practical support to those who need it most is very meaningful to us,” Stewien said.
AutoZone remains committed to giving back and proudly supports organisations that work tirelessly to uplift and care for the most vulnerable in our communities.
